Greetings, whitewater enthusiasts! El Nino has made a long awaited return and the news is great! We predict the upcoming rafting season to be the BEST since 2005, with above normal runoff insuring both an excellent and long rafting season for 2010.
So don't miss out. Now is the time to book your rafting trip, especially if you'd like to lock in that prime weekend or holiday date.
Merced & Tuolumne Rivers. Season start date: April 11th. The Merced River kicks off its season on Sunday, April 11 and should be raftable into early August. The last 10 to 14 days of the season will be low-water family 1/2 day trips, both morning & afternoon. High water period: May 1 - June 5
The Tuolumne River will also be ready to start on Sunday April 11th. We project excellent flows through labor day weekend, Sept 6. High water period May 20 - June 15. Back
