Directions: Historic Columbia is four miles North of Sonora, our county seat. Follow Highway 49 North to turnoff to Columbia. A visit to Columbia is like stepping back in time about 150 years. Relive the goldrush era. From entrance to Columbia State Historic Park, on Parrott's Ferry Rd, watch and follow the international symbols for camping. We are just 1/4 mile East of Columbia, on the only road going East (Yankee Hill Rd - begins as Jackson St).
